Descriptionmeet starts at 6:00. Swimmers need to be there at 4:30. Warm up for us is at 5:00 gates will not open until 4:15. 
We need 9 timers for the meet and 2 ready bench people. Thanks!

Also, if anyone finds an extra team sweatshirt in w/their laundry, please bring it to Awards Night & leave it at the Team Store Table.

 

Also, there will be a Team Store Table for anyone intererested in buying TST (no D & J) things for 5.00!!!

Champs Tune Up Swim Clinic

  • When: Jul 23 – 24, 2011
  • Session I 9:00 – 10:15 Session II 10:15 – 11:30
  • Children will rotate through 6 stations and work on each stroke, starts, and turns.
  • Cost is $40 per session There will 2 sessions today and 2 sessions on Sunday
  • Email Coach Beth if you are attending. 
  • Make checks payable to TST or cash is fine. We will accept walk-in registration on that day if you aren’t sure before.

Healthy Heart Swim @practice on Friday 7/15

Healthy Heart Swim Held During Practice on Friday, July 15th: 
Anthony Bucci and Matt Turner are organizing a Healthy Heart Swim for the swim team as their senior projects for Methacton High School.  
They spoke to the swimmers during practice last Friday and then placed the fundraising forms and envelopes in the family mail files. 

The event will be held on Friday, July 15th during regular practice hours.  
Participants will be given soft pretzels and drinks on the day of the event. 

Winners in each age group will be awarded movie theatre tickets, and those who raise over $100 will be awarded with a trophy. 
Donations provided before Tuesday, July 19th will be eligible for the $100+ trophy awards, and donations provided by Tuesday, July 26th will be eligible for age group prizes. 

Additional fundraiser forms are can be downloaded below for your convenience. 
If you have donations outside the day of the event, please place them in either the Bucci file or the Turner file or give them to one of the coaches.

Ads for A-Champs @ Souderton 7/30

The Souderton Swim Team is hosting the “A” Championship for the Buxmont League 

on July 30th, 2011.  This is a huge event involving community swim teams from 

Bucks and Montgomery Counties.  Swimmers from the eight swim teams; Fanny 

Chapman, Harleysville, Hatfield, Lansdale, Nor-Gwyn, Pennridge, Souderton and 

Towamencin, will be attending, as well as their families and supporters.   

 

We are asking you to consider purchasing an advertisement in our BuxMont “A” 

Championships Swimming Program.  The program is a listing of all the swimmers 

participating with their lane assignments for their races.  Your advertisement will 

reach the very large and active swimming community in your area. 

 

The cost of various advertisements is: 

 

1. Full Page (8 ½ x 11)   $75.00 

2. Half Page     $40.00 

3. Business Card Size   $15.00 

4. Message to a Swimmer  $5.00 per line

Triathlon - Spirit Theme - Fundraiser

You have probably realized things move quickly in swim season!
In an effort to keep you posted, here is the latest news:
  • the theme for the meet tomorrow has changed to HIP HOP   
  • sizing information is for the team gift at the end of the season   
  • we have received plenty of coolers for the triathlon and will not need anymore - thanks!   
    • still need timers   
    • ice   
    • 2 card tables   
  • a message from your teammate:   
    • Hello all, I am Matt Turner. My friend Anthony Bucci and I are organizing a Healthy Heart Swim for the swim team as our senior projects. Sizing Information

If you did not submit your sizing information or your information is incorrect, you can
  • submit your information online until 10 pm tonight ( click here )
or 
  • submit a paper copy tomorrow by the end of practice in the SHEA family folder.
This information is for the team gift at the end of the season.

Triathlon Help Needed

Coach Beth needs your help Sunday!!   
  1. I need cell phone #’s emailed to me directly from street monitors asap!  coachbeth1@verizon.net   
  2. I need at least 4 more people to be street monitors   
  3. I need at least 8 more timers!   
  4. I will also need:   
    • coolers (about 10)   
    • 10 bags of ice   
    • tents (5-6)   
    • 3 card tables dropped off Sat night during set up time   
    • Please make sure names are labeled on them and that they are picked up Sunday afternoon at the pool or they may be left out overnight and I can’t guarantee their safety.   

  5. Timers should arrive @ 5:40 am
  6. Registration people arrive @ 5:40 am
  7. Street Monitors arrive @ 8:30 am
  8. Parking Lot Sweepers arrive @ 4 pm Sat.
  9. Set Up People @ 6 pm Sat.
