Phase Two of our swimming complex needs your help! The Foundation is currently working to improve the Towamencin Swimming Complex, located on Weikel Road in Towamencin Township. The goal is to raise the funds necessary to complete Phase Two of the project which is planned to be completed by Summer 2008.
Phase Two of the Swimming Complex will add the necessary bath facilities for the Easter Seals Summer Camp program, and all of those with disabilities, making them handicapped accessible as well as providing daily members with new up to date changing rooms and bath facilities.
It will also add a new swimming pool that will meet and exceed the current standards for competition pools.
And finally, it will add much needed parking.
To assist the Foundation in paying for a portion of the cost, we are asking you to purchase a commemorative brick! These bricks will be used to outline walkways and in other special locations throughout the facility. In years to come, you will be able to bring your children and grandchildren to the walkway to see your name and their names as a legacy in the construction of this community pool and facility.
The bricks are 4 x 8 x 2 ¼ (personal purchases only) or 8 x 8 x 2 ¼ (business or personal purchases) and are engraved using state of the art laser technology. This will ensure strength and durability for years to come.
You will be able to create your own message for your brick. Your 4x8 brick may have up to 3 lines of wording and 20 characters per line. This includes spaces and punctuation. Your 8x8 brick may have up to six lines of wording and 20 characters per line. This includes spaces and punctuation.
A special Towamencin Swim Team logo is available at an additional charge. Company logos and artwork can be included on a brick at an additional charge. Please note that 4x8 brick messages reduce from 3 lines to 2 lines and the 8x8 brick messages reduce from 6 to lines to 4 lines.
